I distribute information about Swizzle Studio’s shows and activities in several ways. This blog is a really good way to share detailed articles and information. I also have a Swizzle Studio Facebook page. But I still like the old school e-mail list best. The newsletter is our preferred method on communication, as it is more universal than Facebook and Twitter.
Approximately six times a year, Swizzle Studio sends a bulleted summary of the studio’s activities and projects. Swizzle Studio also sends out invitations to art projects Rob Elliott and Christine Cosby are involved in.
However, our mailing list needs to be updated within the next two weeks.
Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) comes into effect July 1, 2014. Swizzle Studio is required by law to collect express consent from all subscribers to continue sending out the newsletter. Express consent is someone actively saying, “Yes, I want you to send me these emails.â€
Send an email to studio[at]swizzle.ca with “Subscribe” in the subject line to keep receiving the newsletter.
Implied consent: If you have purchased artwork from Swizzle Studio, we have your implied consent until July 1, 2017. Your email address will not be removed from the list for three years.
