This new painting has the longest title I’ve ever given a painting: Bush Party (No matter what else happens, that table is getting burnt at the end of the night).

It’s a commission for a couple in British Columbia. I love the way the colours are brawling on the canvas for dominance. It was difficult to paint and nearly impossible to document, but here’s a photo that sort of captures its energy.
