Another great Muskoka teaching session

This year’s session of Nature Journaling at Muskoka Chautauqua was a success. We extended the nature walk portion of the class with lots of drawing from life. It is always a treat to teach outdoors and the students were really keen.

I received a nice email from Festival Director Joan Bendon today:

People raved about your workshop, (especially about how to “see” nature in a new way).  We were delighted you were able to attend and share your knowledge and expertise again this year.

We spent a week driving across the top of Lake Huron, so I got some sketchbook time in for myself, including an evening under the Milky Way!

Mixtape

Alternative is here to stay!

This was fun! My friend @biggeidea asked me to help him design cases for a 50th birthday mixtape he was giving out at a party. The “tape” was actually a USB stick glued to the inside of the cases.

I loved dumbing down Adobe Creative Suite 2023 to recreate what a hack desktop publisher made in 1995.

I also burnt the playlist onto a CD for my own personal enjoyment!

USB Key hidden inside the case.
