I just finished the second gouache and ink drawing for The Super Trash Show. Ravine Opossums was inspired by a block of urban woods across from my family home in Burnaby, British Columbia. We called it Sherwood Forest, and it had everything a kid could want: blackberry bushes, a murky creek, and a rope swing of questionable fitness.

Gas Station Raccoons

I finished a new goauche and ink drawing today. Destined for the Super Trash Show (March 29 at Super Wonder Gallery), the work features a pair of trouble-making raccoons hanging around a gas station. I like the details in this one: the 1980s Big Gulp drink, the BMXs, the freeway signs.
