January appears to have hit a patch of black ice and spun out of control. Here’s the latest pages of My Pandemic Diary!, in which I try to capture some of the twists and turns.
These latest sketchbook pages are exciting (to me, at least) for their drawing experiments. I really like the pen and ink page celebrating winter with its minimal colour. Plus there’s a full page of chimps throwing poop that harkens back to my Monkey Mondays project.
Happy new year! Here are five more pages of My Pandemic Diary, the Covid-19 sketchbook. It was looking good for a bit there, like we might be clear of this thing. Enjoy the return to pandemic psychosis in these dense pages!
This year’s stinky holiday cards were made with rubber stamps. It was quite the assembly line, with Christine and I cutting paper, scoring, folding, stamping, and envelope licking. But we played records the whole time and it was nice to spend evenings working together on these.
