Open Tuning, Toronto’s Free Music Festival, can’t come to the porches and laneways of Seaton Village this year due to COVID-19 precautions. But the festival is coming to your phones and computers.

Participating musicians will be posting their performance times using #Opentuning20. On June 6, search out the hashtag, then check out some amazing music.

Open Tuning is the biggest event of the year for the band I play with, Sore Boozers. We haven’t played together in months, and I miss my fellow musicians tons. I decided to record some songs that I would have brought to practice if things were normal. These videos will be posted on Facebook and Instagram tomorrow morning (June 6).
